GM Area conducted its third edition of National Conference “Rajagiri National Conference on New Paradigms of Management - Sustainability of Businesses, a Multidimensional Approach” on 28th Jan 2020. Mr. Rajendraprasad Pillai, Founder of Social Enterprise “By Hand” was the inauguration Keynote Speaker. Dr. Joseph I Injodey Presided over the inauguration and valedictory functions. He also distributed the Certificates to the presenters and participants. 11 academic research papers and one poster related to the theme of sustainability in businesses were presented in the conference by academicians student sand industry professionals. Mrs. Indu Menon, Founder fo “Kara” a social enterprise based on Kerala's traditional weaving capabilities also presented their perspectives about sustainability in the conference. Research paper by Dr. Kailas K. P., on total quality management practices in MSMEs of Kerala was adjudged the best research paper. Poster on disaster management preactices of Amrita University during Flood crisis of Kerala was adjudged the best poster. Prof. Abhilash G. Nambudiri was the conference Chair and Dr. Issac K. Varghese and Dr. Smith Nair were the conference coordinators for the same.
