The 11th convocation of Rajagiri Business School was held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 2:30 pm onwards in a virtual mode keeping in view the safety measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Jacob Kurian, Partner, New Silk Route Advisors Pvt. Ltd., was the chief guest at the virtual convocation. A former officer of Tata Administrative Services, as the COO and Senior Vice President of Tanishq, he had led the dramatic turnaround of the business in mid-2000 and as CSO and CMO of Titan in mid-1990s, he had led Titan’s rise to a global brand. He joined the event virtually from Bengaluru and delivered the convocation address.
A total of 163 PGDM students were conferred their symbolic degrees at the virtual convocation. Excellence awards in various categories were also given to students. The entire event was streamed live on Zoom platform, YouTube channel and Facebook page.
